The Snowy Mountains yet again welcomes the renowned “Snowy Ride Festival” which is aimed at raising money for Childhood Cancer Research. While the majority of accommodation is already booked in Thredbo we do have limited availability here in Jindabyne. The Snowy Ride is a fantastic weekend for motorbike enthusiasts across Australia to come together for a few days of fun riding in the sun (usually) around the glorious Snowy Mountains.
The Snowies is renowned for twisting and winding roads leading from Adaminaby through Berridale, onto Jindabyne and finally Thredbo. There are 8 check points that span throughout the Snowy Mountains region providing you an opportunity to see the best of the mountains in the Summer time.
If your a passenger or just coming along for a bit of fun with your family there are tons of activities in the snowies to keep you occupied. Activities can be pre-booked so you dont miss out.

Attractions on during the Snowy Ride 2013
- Take a tour to the Dalgety and visit the Snowy River Winery and micro brewery. Lunch is available and you can take a stroll down to the river.
- Enjoy a chairlift ride and checkout the spectacular views through the valley
- Get muddy with your mates on the Barry Way and take out the 4x4 Quad Bikes for an afternoon session
- Pick up some snags from the local Butches in Jindabyne and have a BBQ on the road to the Perisher by the Thredbo River
