The Festival unites the Australian Irish Community for a 3-day celebration of music, culture and sports. The Festival draws visitors from throughout Australia and abroad, and allows an annual opportunity to display and develop Irish culture within the Australian community.
Cooma Rodeo 11 Feb

Flowing Festival 19-20 Feb
Come and experience this fantastic weekend spectacular set in Banjo Paterson Park overlooking Lake Jindabyne and Tyrolean Village. Enjoy the fireworks display on Saturday night or be apart of the 7th Lake Jindabyne Dragon Boat Challenge on Sunday. Sunday’s program also features the Renewable Energy and Climate Change Expo and huge Market Day and amusement rides.

Dalgety Show 4th March
The Dalgety Show is the only show in New South Wales to be held on the banks of the iconic Snowy River. Held every year on the first Sunday in March, the show was first held in 1945 to officially raise money to build a Memorial Hall to honour soldiers fighting in World War Two. The Dalgety Show is the show of the Snowy River Shire. The Snowy River Shire is located on the Southern Tablelands of New South Wales, Australia with an area of 6059 square kilometres. Its headquarters are situated in the picturesque town of Berridale, in the foothills of the Snowy Mountains.
Thredbo Jazz Festival 23-25 Mar
Thredbo is the ideal location for music festivals and events. Set in a picture perfect background of green valleys, mountain streams and nothing but the sweet sounds of Jazz & Funk music floating through the air. Lake Light Sculpture is an exhibition and competition held along the stunning foreshore of Lake Jindabyne located at the foothills of the Snowy Mountains NSW. The annual exhibition runs over the Easter weekend with the official opening & award presentation on Good Friday morning.
Snowy Mountains Trout Challenge 29 Oct - 4 Nov
The annual Yamaha / Freshwater Fishing Snowy Mountains Trout Festival will be run from Saturday the 29th of October to Friday the 4th of November 2011. A week long competition for keen anglers from around the region and growing each year with over $10,000 in prizes

Jindabyne Rodeo 26 Dec
Still partying the festive season on from your Christmas celebrations? then you should get down to the Man from Snowy River Boxing Day rodeo. The Rodeo starts at 9am at the Jindabyne oval and offers a great range of activities and attractions for the family.
The annual event has been running since 1943 in Old Jindabyne and remains a non-profit entity, with all proceeds going back into the local community and future rodeos.
