About Thredbo
The mountain offers a great variety of terrain for all standards of skiers and snowboarders. Thredbo's Friday Flat was purpose built for first timers with its own beginner's lifts & dedicated child learning area. Merritts Spur is for graduates of Friday Flat. There are wide open groomed runs with an even pitch from top to bottom - perfect for adding some style and length to your skiing or boarding. Anton's and Sponar's - the Central Spur area, allows access to some of the most varied terrain Thredbo has to offer. High Noon is half cruiser, half terrain park and flows straight back to Friday Flat. The Supertrail is the signature run of Thredbo leading into Thredbo Village and is best suited to wide open cruising. Within minutes, the Kosciuszko Express Chairlift will have you at the top again where you can opt to go off-piste down the funnelling headwalls of the Bluff. On a powder day this is where you'll find Thredbo's deepest turns. Karels & Basin T-bars access one of the most pleasant areas when you ski Thredbo, with a maze of options for beginners to experts that lead back to the bottom of the hill. With endless options you’ll be sure to love Thredbo.
Thredbo is a charming pedestrian village located centrally within the resort. There is plenty to choose from in Australia's finest alpine village. Throughout Thredbo Village there are gourmet delights, hearty meals, tasty treats, creamy lattes, cocktails, a cold one or a nice drop… all available in front of a roaring fire. Reminiscing over the days happenings is always a little more fanciful when coupled with a glass of wine and something sumptuous!
Restaurant
Try the elegant Terrace Restaurant which overlooks Thredbo mountain, or try the sophisticated surroundings of Knickerbocker Restaurant & bar which also boasts one of the finest wine lists in the village. On most Saturday's Eagles Nest atop the Thredbo Gondola opens for a dinner experience second to none. Saturday nights are also special as the dinner hour is kicked off by the Thredbo Flare Run. Dozens of ski school instructors descend the Supertrail blazing the trail as fireworks burst overhead.
If you've got the energy (and many do), you may kick on the evening at The Lounge Bar, Après Bar or Schuss bar… all with regular live music to keep your toes tapping well into the wee midnight hours. And for those who prefer a livelier venue, the DJ is spinning up all the latest Pop and R&B rhythms for you to dance the night away to at Thredbo's Keller Bar which is open till 3am.
Getting Around - The shuttle bus operates between 7.30am & 5:30pm daily. After hours service operates between 5.30pm and 9.00pm and later on Friday & Saturday nights in peak times. The bus runs on a loop between the Valley Terminal & Friday Flat base area with regular shuttles taking guests to accommodations higher up in the village.

Kids Ski Free:
Thredbo offers free skiing and boarding for children 14yrs and under when booking Kids Stay Free accommodation in either Jindabyne or Thredbo. Conditions stipulate that when an adult buys a Lift Only or Lift & Lesson ticket, one child will recieve the same free. Maximum one child per adult and Thredbo Land upgrades are available. (Contact your reservations consultant for details) Kids Stay & Ski Free deals are valid between 9 - 22 June & 3 September - 1 October .

Thredbo Lift Pass Notes
- Bonus ½ day free ski is available on 5, 6 & 7 day products from 1pm on the day prior to the first full day of riding. Start date of ticket to be based off the first ½ day.
- Multi day tickets crossing over season dates will be charged at the applicable rate as the first day of use.
- A child is 14 years and under.
- Children 4 and under ski free (lift pass only). Free ticket collected at Valley Terminal of Friday Flat ticket office
- 2 hour group lessons are not available for children under 7.
- Children‟s snowboarding group lessons & programs commence from 7+ years of age. Children wishing to have snowboarding lessons under the age of 7 will need to be booked into private lessons.
- Lift & Lesson passes include 2 hour group lessons each day.
- First-timer passes include unrestricted lifts and a 2 hour first timer lesson each day.
Thredbo Starter Package
This product; formerly known as the First Timer Lift & Lesson & Equipment Hire Package, is perfect for new skiers and boarders and incorporates a First Timers Lift and Lesson pass with Recreational Skis, Poles and Boots OR Recreational Snowboard and Boots & Helmet hire.
- Includes a 2 hour First Timer group lesson each day.
- Available to children 7+ years only. (Group lessons are not available for children under 7).
- Children under 7 wishing to ski should be referred to a Thredboland program.
- Children wishing to have snowboarding lessons under the age of 7 will need to be booked into private lessons.
- An electronic credit card imprint OR cash deposit required upon collection of all equipment or Drivers Licence.

Thredboland and Terms and conditions:
1) Thredboland childrens (3 to 6) program reserves the right to limit enrolment and/or refuse admittance to any child who, at Thredbolands sole discretion, does not fit into the program due to age, adaptability or illness.
2) If the child becomes ill during the day we will make every effort to contact the parent or guardian so that they may pick him/her up.
3) Vouchering & pre purchase of Thredboland and Freeride passes does not guarantee class positions for children who arrive late after the commencement of the daily programmes.

Change from skiing to snowboarding or vice versa? Thredbo Sports can fit clients on the spot and swap them over from one discipline to the other at no charge. A small service fee will apply if clients wish to swap back again during their stay. Getting to Thredbo via Flights, Bus Transfer or Car Hire
Staying on snow means you save time and hit the slopes early! Why not take the hassle out of you snow holiday and take a bus transfer? If your coming from queensland or even sydney you might like to save the time and fly via Aeropelican, Qantas or Virgin Blue into Canberra airport and take the fast and easy way to the ski fields. Alternativley we can arrange transfers or car hire from Sydney airport also, please ask your consultant for more information regarding flights and transfers.
Car Hire
 Hiring a car and driving to the snow often means that you can share the cost of national park entry fee and choose to stay in Jindabyne which can sometimes mean big savings on accommodation costs. Bus Transfers From Canberra
This year Sno Express are offering two Friday and Sunday services at four great locations. Mantra on Northbourne, Jolimont Centre, Breakfree Capital Tower and Canberra Airport. Flights to the Snowy Mountains
If you dont want to spend half of your holiday in the car driving then why not take Aeropelicans easy flights from either Sydney or Newcastle. Flights are scheduled every day except Tuesday and an additional two flights have been added on peak travel days Friday and Sunday for keen skiers and snowboarders.
